SUBJECT: Mutual Aid Agreement - City of Temple Terrace
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This is a renewal of an existing mutual aid agreement that provides for law enforcement assistance between the two cities in investigative matters and in the event of emergency, crisis, or disaster. This agreement is in accordance with provisions of state law governing mutual aid agreements for law enforcement services.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve renewal of the existing law enforcement mutual aid agreement between City of Plant City and City of Temple Terrace and their respective law enforcement agencies and authorize the City Manager and Chief of Police to execute the agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no direct fiscal impact upon signing the agreement. In the event of an activation of personnel under this agreement, each city is responsible for the cost associated with deployment of its respective personnel and/or resources.
