SUBJECT: Utility easement from 3KS FAMILY LLLP
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City of Plant City Utilities Department maintains meters and backflow preventer assemblies located throughout the City. The new water meters and backflow preventer assemblies (BPAs) were constructed for 3KS FAMILY, LLLP, a Florida limited liability limited partnership, at 4611 Lykes Road. The easement of the new meters and BPAs has been deeded to the City to allow access for Utilities' personnel to perform annual testing and required maintenance. The Utilities Department will be maintaining these new facilities within the proposed easement.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve a resolution accepting the easement and authorizing the City Clerk to record the easement on behalf of the City to maintain the meters and BPAs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The meters and BPAs will go into the Utilities Department inventory and be included in the maintenance programs.
