SUBJECT: Deployment and hosting of the City's new website
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
City Staff identified the need to upgrade the City's current website hosting platform. The proposed hosting platform, Revize, LLC, has enhanced security protocols, advanced functionalities, and one-of-a-kind customization tailored to the City's unique identity.
The advanced functionalities include a search feature that returns more accurate results, additional features to display information, and built-in tools for more efficient updates. In addition, the new vendor will collaborate with the City to create a website that is visually engaging. The Revize, LLC hosting platform follows ADA requirements.
The Procurement Department published Notice of Intent to Sole Source (NOI) 24-012IT-KA, Web Content Management Software, on November 30, 2023, and received no objections.
The sole source agreement with Revize, LLC is for a period of five years at a not-to-exceed cost of $131,400, which includes buildout and implementation cost of $82,900 and $48,500 to cover the $9,700 annual subscription fee for five years. There will be eight phases to deploy the new website and will take five to eight months to go live.
