TO:                                          City Commission

FROM:                                          Bill McDaniel, City Manager

SUBJECT:                     Legislative public hearing for map amendment PC/CPA 23-04 located on E Trapnell Road.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The applicant is requesting a Future Land Use designation of Plant City Residential-4 for a 0.90± acre site located south of Trapnell Road and east of James L. Redman Parkway (SR 39). The site is within the Plant City city limits and consists of a portion of two properties currently designated Hillsborough County Residential-1.  This Future Land Use category is intended to recognize the existing rural residential development in this part of unincorporated Hillsborough County.

The Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission (7-0) and Plant City Planning Board (7-0) found this map amendment consistent with the Plant City Comprehensive Plan on January 8, 2024, and January 24, 2024, respectively.

RECOMMENDATION

That the City Commission adopt an ordinance approving PC/CPA 23-04.

FISCAL IMPACT
