SUBJECT: Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2023-24
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This budget adjustment includes the following:
• The Police Department in the General Fund had a property claim for the Police entry gate. The insurance reimbursement of $20,607 will be used to purchase and install a new gate.
• The Library Donation Fund has a balance available for spending in the current fiscal year and this adjustment provides for the appropriation of $45,000 within the fund. In addition, the City received a recent donation of $4,000 from the Elks Lodge to purchase books.
• The Traffic Division in the Street Fund designed some new signs for the CRA district. The CRA district will reimburse up to $20,000 for the materials.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution to approve an amendment to the budget for the year ending September 30, 2024.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Based on approval, a budget adjustment will be posted with line-item detail as shown on the attached resolution.
