SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the execution of the Site Access
Agreement with Earth Systems, LLC.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City's property at 627 S. Collins Street, formerly the location of a Petrol Mart gas station, is eligible for clean-up by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) under the State's program. At the February 12th City Commission meeting, the City Commission approved an access agreement to give FDEP access to the Petrol Mart property for the clean-up. The proposed agreement is a separate access agreement with the contractor, which has terms not part of the agreement with FDEP, including indemnity from the Contractor to the City and insurance protection in favor of the City.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve a Resolution authorizing the execution of the Site Access Agreement between the City of Plant City and Earth Systems, LLC.
