                     Holdings, Inc.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The City of Plant City Utilities Department maintains meters and backflow preventer assemblies located throughout the City.  New water meters and backflow preventer assemblies (BPAs) were constructed for ATK Holdings, Inc. at 1741 Turkey Creek Road. The proposed easement for these new meters and BPAs will allow access for Utilities' personnel to perform annual testing and any maintenance that may be required. The Utilities Department will maintain these new facilities within the proposed easement.

RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Commission approve a resolution accepting the easement and mortgage subordination and authorizing the City Clerk to record the easement and mortgage subordination on behalf of the City to maintain the meters and BPAs.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The meters and BPAs will go into the Utilities Department inventory and be included in the maintenance programs.
