SUBJECT: Halff Associates, Inc. acquisition of Singhofen & Associates, Inc.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On June 14, 2021, the City Commission awarded forty continuing contracts for engineering services in ten different categories. Singhofen & Associates was one of the awardees in the Stormwater category.
Staff has been notified that Singhofen & Associates was acquired and is now doing business as Halff Associates, an awardee in the General Engineering category. Halff Associates has requested the City to approve the assignment of contract. Staff has determined the acquisition to be administrative in nature and that the Halff staff expertise and resources remain unchanged from Singhofen & Associates.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to convey acceptance of the assignment of the City’s contract with Singhofen & Associates, Inc. to Halff Associates, Inc.

None.
