SUBJECT: Resolution excusing the absence of Commissioner Sparkman
from regular City Commission meetings
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Commissioner Sparkman was unable to attend the City Commission meetings on April 8, 2024 and April 22, 2024, and will also be unable to attend the City Commission meetings on May 13, 2024 and May 28, 2024, all due to health reasons.
Because of the attendance requirements in Article II, Section 8 of the Plant City Charter, it is necessary that the City Commission excuse said absences by resolution.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution excusing Commissioner Sparkman’s absences.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
