SUBJECT: Utility easement from Redline Property Group, LLC
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City of Plant City Utilities Department maintains meters and backflow preventer assemblies located throughout the City. New water meters and backflow preventer assemblies (BPAs) were constructed by Redline Property Group, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company, at 423 County Line Road. The easement for the new meters and BPAs has been deeded to the City to allow access for Utilities' personnel to perform annual testing and any maintenance that may be required. The Utilities Department will maintain these new facilities within the proposed easement.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve a resolution accepting the easement and authorizing the City Clerk to record the easement on behalf of the City to maintain the meters and BPAs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The meters and BPAs will go into the Utilities Department inventory and be included in the maintenance programs.
