On November 27, 2023, the City Commission approved Resolution No. 248-2023 for a 180-day extension of time for the property owner to commence sales of alcoholic beverages at 103 North Palmer Street.

Section 10-70, Plant City Code, allows that “If the property owner is still unable to commence sales after requesting an extension, the property owner may petition the City Commission for additional extensions, provided that such petition for any additional extensions is filed prior to the expiration of the existing extension. Such additional extensions may only be granted by the City Commission for up to 180 days and only upon a showing of good cause by the property owner.”
