SUBJECT: Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2023-24
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This budget adjustment appropriates money within the Fleet Fund to be used to purchase replacement vehicles:
1) $80,000 to purchase two Nissan Frontier pickup trucks to replace units 123 and 124 for the Utility Billing Division.
2) $150,000 to purchase a Caterpillar 308 Hydraulic Excavator to replace unit 3142 for the Utility Maintenance Division.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution to approve an amendment to the budget for the year ending September 30, 2024, which provides for the above adjustment.
