SUBJECT: Burgess & Niple EWO 21-020-01D-03 Modification 1
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In July 2022 Burgess & Niple (B&N) was issued Engineering Work Order 21-020-01D-03 for design and permitting work for rehabilitation of bridges and culverts at four locations around the city.
During the data collection and site investigation phase it was determined that the city did not have adequate record drawings of these facilities. This modification provides for conventional and LIDAR based survey, and drawing preparation necessary for the construction contract documents. The cost of the additional services is $16,465.80. The modification also includes an additional 40 days for the field and drafting work, and time for the intervening delay.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute EWO 21-020-01D-03 Modification 1 with Burgess & Niple for the four locations of bridge & culvert sites, in the amount of $16,465.80, for a total work order amount of $133,465.80.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in Project ST010 - Bridge Repair, Replacement and Upgrade.
