SB 812 added the requirement for "Expedited approval of residential building permits before a final plat is recorded" and by October 1, 2024, the City shall create a program to expedite the process for issuing building permits for residential subdivisions before a final plat is recorded. * Adds a section creating 3 types of subdivisions (Major, Minor, Lot Split) and defining such types.
* Removes "Bond; letter of credit" section and replaces with a more detailed section titled Security.
* Adds sections for construction drawings (Sec. 94-80 through 94-87).
* Adds sections which allow building permits to be issued for residential buildings after preliminary plat approval. (94-70(10); 94-73&74)
* Adds sections for certifying the design, construction, and final inspection of improvem...
