SUBJECT: Amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The funds that were appropriated in the Community Redevelopment Agency budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24 were not all expended. Attached is the revised budget based on the activity in the fund as of September 30, 2024.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Community Redevelopment Agency Board authorize a resolution to amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT:
As of September 30, 2024, fund balance in the Community Redevelopment Agency Fund is $6,861,108. The funds are committed to be spent within three years on open encumbrances ($61,528) and the following projects for purposes outlined in the community redevelopment plan: Parking Lot Improvements ($314,742); McCall Park ($50,000); Downtown Landscaping Plan ($50,000); Evers Street ($763,460); Collins Street ($550,000); Downtown Boardwalk ($250,000); Midtown Wastewater System ($800,000); Brick Street ($147,914); Property ($488,010); Bike Trail ($125,000); Streets ($366,616), Capital Outlay ($5,107); Wayfinding Signs ($500,000), and Contingency ($2,388,731).
