SUBJECT: Zoll Heart Monitor and AED Purchase
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Plant City Fire Rescue requests approval to purchase essential equipment to enhance our emergency response capabilities, including two Zoll X Series Advanced Monitors/Defibrillators and six Zoll AED Plus Units. The Zoll X Series Monitors provide advanced monitoring features such as 12-lead ECG, pacing, and CPR quality feedback, while the Zoll AED Plus Units, with Public Safety PASS Covers, Soft Cases, and long-life batteries, ensure rapid response for cardiac emergencies.
This life-saving equipment can be acquired from Zoll Medical Corporation, using the Oregon League of Cities contract PS20200, at a total cost of $105,477.42.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve the purchase of the Zoll X Series Advanced Monitors and Zoll AED Plus Units from Zoll Medical Corporation for $105,477.42.

$108,000 is included in the General Fund, Org # 00152705, Obj. # 464100 - Fire EMS, Other Capital Outlay.
