SUBJECT: Legislative public hearing on ordinance vacating portion of utility easement located within Section 27 and 34, Township 28 South, Range 22 East, Hillsborough County, Florida.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On February 14, 1994, the City of Plant City acquired a utility easement which was recorded in Official Records Book 7317, Page 1849, of the public records of Hillsborough County, Florida.
The current owner, Lakeside Station, LLC has requested that the City vacate a portion of the utility easement located within Section 27 and 34, Township 28 South, Range 22 East, Hillsborough County, Florida. The portion requested to be vacated is not necessary for the City’s uses and is located where Lakeside Station, LLC plans to construct townhomes.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt an ordinance vacating a portion of utility easement located within Section 27 and 34, Township 28 South, Range 22 East, Hillsborough County, Florida.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact.
