SUBJECT: Utility easement from CFL THREE, LLC.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City of Plant City Utilities Department maintains meters and backflow preventer assemblies (BPAs) located throughout the City. New water meters and BPAs were constructed for CFL THREE, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, at 1061 S County Line Road. The easement of the new meters and BPAs has been deeded to the City to allow access for Utilities' personnel to perform annual testing and required maintenance. The Utilities Department will maintain these new facilities within the proposed easement.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve a resolution accepting the easement and authorizing the City Clerk to record the easement on behalf of the City to maintain the meters and BPAs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The meters and BPAs will be added to the Utilities Department inventory and included in the maintenance programs.
