SUBJECT: W. Gilchrist Street Brick Road Restoration
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The W. Gilchrist Street Brick Road Restoration project consists of removing existing brick pavement, leveling and compacting the bedding layer, and installing new brick pavers along W. Gilchrist Street between N. Evers Street and N. Collins Street.
This work can be completed by JNandlal Maintenance Services of Brandon, LLC, via piggyback of City of Lakeland bid No. 2023-ITB-078, Annual Brick Street and Streetscape Repair and Replacement Services, for $121,718.53.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the CRA Board authorize the Executive Director to execute an agreement with JNandlal Maintenance Services of Brandon, LLC, via piggyback of City of Lakeland bid No. 2023-ITB-078, Annual Brick Street and Streetscape Repair and Replacement Services, for the W. Gilchrist Street Brick Road Restoration project, for $121,718.53.
FISCAL IMPACT:
CRA funds are available in ST029 - Brick Road Restoration. W. Gilchrist Street is within the CRA district limits, and a budget adjustment is included in the CRA agenda to increase the budget by $123,000 for the W. Gilchrist Street and N. Thomas Street brick road restoration projects.
