SUBJECT: N. Davis Street Brick Road Restoration
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The N. Davis Street Brick Road Restoration project consists of removing existing brick pavement, leveling and compacting the bedding layer, and re-laying the existing bricks along N. Davis Street between McLendon Street and W. Baker Street.
The existing concrete curbs damaged by the recent hurricane repairs will be removed and replaced with new concrete curbs on both sides of N. Davis Street.
This work can be completed by JNandlal Maintenance Services of Brandon, LLC, via piggyback of City of Lakeland bid No. 2023-ITB-078, Annual Brick Street and Streetscape Repair and Replacement Services, for $79,904.40.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with JNandlal Maintenance Services of Brandon, LLC, via piggyback of City of Lakeland bid No. 2023-ITB-078, Annual Brick Street and Streetscape Repair and Replacement Services, for the N. Davis Street Brick Road Restoration project, for $79,904.40.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP # ST026 - Street Resurfacing (1 Mil) for brick road restoration and will be transferred to the specific string for brick road resurfacing to account for the work along N. Walker Street and N. Davis Street.
