SUBJECT: CRA Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2024-25
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On October 9 - 15, 2024, the EOC staff monitored Hurricane Milton and responded to several emergency situations. Several city employees, including the Community Services Manager, provided assistance in serving meals to the community. Since this fund has one position, the salary and benefits line items are being amended, and the expenses are 100% reimbursable by the Federal FEMA grant. In addition, some of the CRA assets were damaged and have been repaired. The majority of these expenses will be covered by Federal and State FEMA reimbursement. The remainder of approximately $600 will be absorbed within the 2025 budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Community Redevelopment Agency adopt a resolution amending the CRA budget for the year ending September 30, 2025, which provides for the above adjustment.
