SUBJECT: Outdoor Firing Range/Training Facility Lead Removal
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Plant City Police Department (PCPD) outdoor firing range requires periodic lead removal to meet the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) best management practices (BMPs) for managing a firing range.
Lead removal work can be completed by Recoil, LLC - Range Remediation via piggyback of Volusia County bid No. 24-B-56JS.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Recoil, LLC - Range Remediation, via piggyback of Volusia County bid No. 24-B-56JS, for the Police Department’s Outdoor Firing Range remediation efforts, for a not to exceed amount of $82,425.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP# PD007 - PCPD Outdoor Firearms Range/Training Facility.
