SUBJECT: Addition of new rate categories to the City’s continuing agreement with Florida Transportation Engineering, Inc.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On June 14, 2021, the City Commission approved forty continuing contracts for engineering services in ten (10) different categories. Florida Transportation Engineering, Inc. (FTE) was one of the awardees in the category of Transportation Engineering.
FTE has requested five (5) new rate categories be added to the continuing contract. These categories are:
Position/Titles Raw Labor Rates
Survey Project Manager 3 $216.35 - $216.35
Survey Crew Chief $75.00 - $75.00
Survey Analyst $64.90 - $64.90
4 Person Crew Day (8 Hour) $1,839.12
3 Person Crew Day (8 Hour) $1,479.12
Staff reviewed the request and determined it to be acceptable. All other rate categories, terms, and provisions of the contract remain unchanged.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to convey acceptance of the addition of the Survey Project Manager 3, Survey Crew Chief, Survey Analyst, 4 Person Crew Day (8 hour), and 3 Person Crew Day (8 Hour) rate categories to the contract with FTE for continuing engineering services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds will be available in the various funds associated with the work to be accomplished.
