SUBJECT: Contract with iMulchFL, Inc. for Engineered Wood Fiber Mulch
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Parks division utilizes engineered wood fiber mulch at playground locations citywide.
Mulch services can be provided by iMulchFL, Inc., through piggyback of Hillsborough County contract ITB-24-24520. iMulchFL, Inc. is a current vendor and will supply the department with high-quality engineered wood fiber mulch.
This service is provided on an as-needed basis through October 31, 2027. Annual usage is approximately $27,000.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with iMulchFL, Inc, through piggyback of Hillsborough County contract ITB-24-24520, for engineered wood fiber mulch on an as-needed basis.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the General Fund, Parks Maintenance Division: Org # 00153901 Obj # 446110- Building and Property Repair.
