SUBJECT: Citywide Fence Projects
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On November 25, 2024, the City contracted with Witt Fence Co., for fence repairs in various Parks and Recreation facilities, via piggyback of Hillsborough County Contract ITB-23-24318.
While this authorization was limited to a specific scope centered around Parks and Recreation projects, staff identified the need to have a continuing contract in place to service Citywide fence projects.
Amending and restating the November 25, 2024 piggyback contract with Witt Fence to allow for Citywide fence projects will provide staff the flexibility to quickly and efficiently complete fence projects. This amended and restated contract will remain a piggyback of Hillsborough County Contract ITB-23-24318 and the term will be through April 27, 2028, with one addition two-year renewal option.
Work will be performed only after written purchase order or work order from the City.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an amended and restated agreement with Witt Fence Co., for Citywide fence projects, via piggyback of Hillsborough County contract ITB-23-24318.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP # PK047 - Mike E. Sansone Baseball Fence/Dugout.
