SUBJECT: Conservation Easement for the Turkey Creek Road project
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As part of the widening project for Turkey Creek Road, a pond for stormwater retention was created on City property north of Sydney Road and east of Turkey Creek Road. A Conservation Easement is required by the Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission (EPC) to protect the wetland area and allow Hillsborough County access for maintenance of the wetland.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute the EPC Conservation Easement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact.
