SUBJECT: Survey, and Mapping Services for Advance Treatment Water Facility Locations Evaluation
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City received legislative appropriations (LPA0038) for the McIntosh Preserve Suite of Integrated Projects. Following the Third Amendment to the agreement, the total current award is $11.35 million. This amendment secures the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 funding and extends the agreement's expiration date to March 31, 2026.
The McIntosh Preserve Suite of Integrated Projects is comprised of two major components: the McIntosh Preserve Wetland Expansion and the Potable Reuse Project. The Wetland Expansion project is currently being prepared for the construction bid phase. The Potable Reuse Project is in the initial design phase. As part of this phase, the City is evaluating alternatives to develop a potable reuse concept that would utilize approximately 3 to 5 million gallons per day (MGD) of reclaimed water as a new source of potable water supply. This phase includes the preliminary design of the selected system and an evaluation of potential sites for further development.
Utilizing the City's continuing contracts for engineering services, Engineering Work Order 21-020-10B-01 was developed with CivilSurv, for $166,000, to provide survey and mapping services. Surveying is necessary to support site selection for a new Advanced Treatment Water Facility (ATWF).
