SUBJECT: Janitorial Services Contract for new SWUM Building
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The new Solid Waste and Utilities Maintenance building is complete. Staff obtained quotes from the current provider, NET Facility Services LLC, and Pritchard Industries, the janitorial services provider for Hillsborough County. Pritchard’s quote was lower than NET by $5,338. The proposed annual cost for Pritchard is $44,245.08. The annual cost to clean two existing buildings will be removed from the City’s contract with NET Facility Services LLC.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute a piggy-back agreement with Pritchard Industries for janitorial services at the new SWUM Building for $44,245.08 annually.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The annual cost of $44,245.08 will be paid from the following accounts:
