SUBJECT: Mike Sansone Ballfield Fencing Project
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Mike Sansone Park is home to the Plant City Little League and host to approximately 40 baseball/softball tournaments annually. Due to the extreme usage and age, ballfield fences are in need of replacement. Seven fields in total are included in this project.
Fields 1-7 will have all new black vinyl fencing around the outfields, base lines, dugouts, and backstops. Staff will complete the demolition of existing fences for cost savings. This project can be completed utilizing the City's continuing contract with Witt Fence Company. Work Order 25-017PK-JG-PB-01 has been developed in the amount of $467,130.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute Work Order 25-017PK-JG-PB-01 with Witt Fence Co., to replace ballfield fencing at Mike Sansone Park, for $467,130.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the CIP # PK047 Mike E. Sansone Baseball Fence/Dugout.
