SUBJECT: Gilchrist Park Playground Replacement
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The playground located on the north side of Gilchrist Park was installed in 2010. This playground has been removed due to age and condition and a replacement playground has been designed.
The proposed new playground will be ADA compliant with accessibility features, sensory features, and safety surfacing.
Utilizing the City's continuing contract for Playground and Park Site Furnishings, staff has developed Work Order 25-040PK-JG-PB-01, with Rep Services, Inc., for Gilchrist Park Playgound Replacement, for $434,524.61.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute Work Order 25-040PK-JG-PB-01, with Rep Services, Inc., for $434,524.61.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP # RC008 - Playground Improvements
