SUBJECT: Mike E. Sansone Community Park Parking Lot Improvements
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Mike E. Sansone Community Park is home to Plant City Little League baseball/softball program. The existing conditions of the parking lots consist of grass/dirt parking areas and gravel roads resulting in a lack of accessibility, high maintenance, dusty and/or muddy surfaces, undefined parking spaces and pathways, and poor drainage.
Utilizing the City’s continuing contracts for engineering services, staff developed Engineering Work Order 21-020-02D-03 with DRMP, Inc. for design and permitting of one (1) paved parking lot.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute Engineering Work Order 21-020-02D-03 with DRMP, Inc., in the amount of $100,531.82.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP # ST026 - Street Resurfacing (1 mil). A new CIP sheet with the project description is attached.
