SUBJECT: Public hearing on an ordinance amending Section 2-34, Plant City Code to reschedule the times of regular City Commission meetings.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
At the May 12, 2025 City Commission meeting, Mayor Kilton proposed that the City meeting time for regular City Commission meetings be changed to 6:00 p.m. After discussion, it was the consensus of the City Commission to have the City Attorney prepare an ordinance for first reading at the May 27th meeting and public hearing on June 9, 2025.
The proposed ordinance changes the meeting times of regular meetings from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Commission consider adoption of the ordinance amending Section 2-34, Plant City Code, changing the time of the regular City Commission meetings to 6:00 p.m.

None.
