SUBJECT: Playgrounds and Park Site Furnishings
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Each year, the City purchases playgrounds and park site furnishings from Rep Services, Inc., via piggyback of Clay County Contract 23-24/074. Rep Services has, year over year, proven to reliably provide quality work and dependable customer service.
Since their services are engaged annually, staff recommends that the most efficient method to acquire playgrounds and park site furnishings is a continuing agreement with Rep Services. Entering into this agreement will increase efficiency, resulting in projects being approved faster.
The term of the agreement is through July 23, 2027, with two additional single-year renewal options. Projects will be awarded via purchase order and work order. All projects above $50,000 will come before the City Commission for final approval.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Rep Services, Inc., for as-needed Playgrounds and Park Site Furnishings, via piggyback of Clay County Contract 23-24/074, and to execute up to two single-year renewal options.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost for this service is budgeted in the various department/divisions that purchase playgrounds and park site furnishings.
