SUBJECT: Dugout Replacement- Hurricane Milton Damage
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Hurricane Milton caused extensive damage to six dugouts at the Randy Larson Four Plex and two dugouts at Mike Sansone Park. Staff received a proposal from Rep Services, Inc. to customize replacement dugouts to fit the current field layout and fencing.
The dugouts can be aquired from Rep Services, Inc., through piggyback of Clay County Contract No. 23-24/074 for the amount of $309,220.65. This is reimbursable by FEMA funding.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Rep Services Inc., to replace 8 baseball field dugouts.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The contract will be charged to CIP # MILTON-POSTSTORM:
Two dugouts - Org # 00153901, Obj # 463400 - $75,068.67
Six dugouts - Org # 00153903, Obj # 463400 - $225,145.55
Bond- Org # 00153903, Obj # 463400- $9,006.43
A budget adjustment to recognize revenue from FEMA to pay for these expenses is included in the agenda packet for approval.
