SUBJECT: Annexation Agreement from Andrew Dwight Seawell

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Andrew Dwight Seawell requested potable water service for property located at 3604 Medulla Road. The property, located in unincorporated Hillsborough County, is not contiguous to the City limits and cannot be annexed.
The agreement for water service and petition for annexation (“Annexation Agreement”) will allow the property owner to connect to the City’s utilities and concurrently petition to annex said property into the corporate limits of the City of Plant City immediately upon the City's determination that the property meets the legal requirements for annexation.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve a resolution accepting the Annexation Agreement from Andrew Dwight Seawell.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no cost to the City for this agreement. The Utilities Department will serve additional customers, which will generate revenue in the Water/Sewer Fund.
