SUBJECT: Resolution approving an agreement with Precision Contracting, Inc. for fiber optic services under the Palm Beach County contract.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Through a piggyback of the Palm Beach County fiber contract with Precision Contracting Services, Inc., the City can acquire as-needed fiber optic services. This contract is for fiber optic material, supplies, and installation as authorized by Work Order.
The term of this agreement will commence on the effective date of October 1, 2025 and shall remain in effect through March 10, 2026. This agreement may be extended at the sole discretion of the City Manager for four twelve-month renewal periods upon the same terms and conditions of the contract.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Precision Contracting, Inc, via piggyback of Palm Beach County contract, for as-needed fiber optic services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the Street Fund, Org # 30756000, Obj # 463400, CIP # TR006 - IMPLMT307 - Fiber Optic Upgrade
