SUBJECT:                     A presentation from Planning and Zoning and Planning Commission Staff regarding an introduction to the process for the update to the Plant City Comprehensive Plan.

 

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

August 2025 will kick off an update to the Imagine 2040 Plant City Comprehensive Plan.  This type of update happens every 7-10 years.  The update will include visioning efforts and coordination with the community. The presentation will provide information regarding what the comprehensive plan is and why it is important and will also introduce the various steps of the process which is anticipated to start in mid-August 2025 and continue through 2026.
