SUBJECT: Third Modification to the Interlocal Funding Agreement Between the City of Plant City and Hillsborough County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Annually, the City receives an allocation from Hillsborough County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program to fund public facility improvements, and other eligible CDBG Program activities. The Fiscal Year 2023-2024 CDBG Program authorizes use of funds for sidewalk improvements, street resurfacing, and administration of the projects. There is $55,858.50 unexpended and this modification extends the expenditure deadline to September 30, 2026 and the expiration deadline to December 31, 2026. This work is identified in the modification as Scope of Work C. Scopes A and B have been completed, and Scope C is expected to be complete by December 2025.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution approving the third modification to the funding agreement with Hillsborough County related to the Community Development Block Grant for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 and authorize the Mayor, City Attorney and City Clerk to execute said agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the CDBG Fund based on the approved grant revenue listed in the agreement: CIP # CS012, Org # 15055700, Obj # 463160, - Robinson Park Neighborhood.
