SUBJECT: United States Tennis Association (USTA) Grant Acceptance
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On August 13, 2025, Parks and Recreation staff received a Hurricane Relief Assistance Grant from the USTA Florida Section Foundation in the amount of $92,080.30. The grant funds can be used for court and facility improvements.
Staff will use the funds to resurface two Har-Tru clay courts and four hard courts within Fiscal Year 2025-2026. Upon completion of the improvements, the USTA Florida Section Foundation will reimburse the City for all funds used to procure the improvements.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to receive the USTA Hurricane Relief Assistance Grant to fund future projects that fall under the qualifications for reimbursement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in project PK036- Park Improvements
