SUBJECT: Purchase of FiberTrak
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As the City reaches substantial completion of the City Wide fiber upgrade, challenges are faced by way of design documentation. The FiberTrak solution povides a robust and comprehensive offering to document and track all fiber utilities. The integration will be specific to the Traffic network using CADD, GIS, ESRI ArcGIS. This project will provide fully integrated trackable and updatable plans for our network for years to come.
Through Fiber Optic Material, Supplies and Installation (25-060TR-FB-PB) contract with Precision Contracting Services, Inc., the City can acquire the referenced fiber optic services.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to purchase Fiber Trak through Precision Contracting Services, Inc., via contract 25-060TR-FB-PB. The total cost of this project is expected at $157,500.00.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in the Street Fund, Org # 30756000 Obj # 434000, CIP # TR012 - IMPLMT307 - Fiber Optic Network Mapping.
