SUBJECT: Rescinding Sections 1 and Section 2 of Resolution 176-2023
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On August 28, 2023, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 176-2023, which among other things approved a Ground Lease Agreement with Wheeler Street Station, LLC on property located at the Southwest corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Wheeler Street, and further authorized the City Manager to execute said Ground Lease Agreement after the closing on the Real Estate Purchase Agreement with Wheeler Street Station, LLC.
Wheeler Street Station, LLC is currently revising their site plan and no longer needs the ground lease approved in Resolution No. 176-2023.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution rescinding Sections 1 and 2 of Resolution No. 176-2023.
