SUBJECT: Resolution setting a Legislative public hearing for map amendment PC/CPA 22-12 located on the east side of Wilder Road, north of Frontage Road.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The applicant is requesting a future land use designation of Plant City Commercial for a 9.2 ± acre site located on the east side of Wilder Road, north of Frontage Road. The site is within the boundary of the Northeast Plant City Master Plan and consists of one (1) parcel designated Hillsborough County Residential-1.
On December 12, 2022, the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission (9-0) found this map amendment consistent with the Plant City Comprehensive Plan and on December 28, 2022, the Plant City Planning Board (6-0) found the map amendment consistent with the Plant City Comprehensive Plan. Attached for your consideration is a staff report from the Planning Commission analyzing and finding map amendment PC/CPA 22-12 consistent with the Imagine 2040: Plant City Comprehensive Plan.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Commission adopt a resolution setting a legislative public hearing for PC/CPA 22-12 on November 10, 2025.
FISCAL IMPACT
Potential increase for industrial development.
