SUBJECT: Resolution approving an extension of time to be heard by the City Commission for PC/CPA 24-11.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The applicant for PC/CPA 24-11 is requesting an extension of time for their application to be heard by the City Commission.
In September 2024, the City’s Rules and Procedures regarding Comprehensive Plan Amendments was changed to require applications to be heard by the City Commission within 180 days of their appearance before the Planning Commission or they would have to go back to the Planning Commission for a second look. PC/CPA 24-11 was heard by the Planning Commission in March of 2025 and has exceeded the 180-day requirement. An extension of time would be necessary to be heard by the Planning Board in November and the City Commission in January.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution approving the extension of time request to January of 2026 for PC/CPA 24-11
