SUBJECT: Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2025-26
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On October 9 - 15, 2024, the EOC staff monitored Hurricane Milton and responded to several emergency situations. One of the damaged inventory items, which is reimbursable by FEMA, is to replace and install eight dugouts (six at Randy Larson Four Plex and two at Mike E. Sansone Park).
This adjustment appropriates $310,000 in the General Fund for hurricane related expenses.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution to approve an amendment to the budget for the year ending September 30, 2026, which provides for the above adjustment.
