SUBJECT: Budget Amendment for Fiscal Year 2025-26
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
This budget adjustment appropriates $165,003 to the Police Department for the 2025 Edward Byrne Grant.
Based on the authorized uses, Plant City Police Department proposes to procure 120 Walther PDP Pro 9mm pistols, 120 holsters, 120 rail-mounted tactical lights, and 69,500 rounds of transition and training ammunition.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution to approve an amendment to the budget for the year ending September 30, 2026, which provides for the above adjustment.
