SUBJECT: Preliminary Engineering Agreement with CSXT - Sidewalk Installation at N. & S. Woodrow Wilson St
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Sidewalk design, drainage improvements, permitting, and specifications along the east side of N. Woodrow Wilson St and S. Woodrow Wilson St have been completed. A portion of the improvements are within and likely to impact CSXT right-of-way (ROW).
The total Reimbursable Expenses for the project within the CSXT ROW are estimated at approximately $50,500. An advanced deposit of $3,500 was sent to CSXT on October 1, 2025 to initiate the project and the remaining $47,000 is for review and approval of the final design plans, specifications, and other documents to satisfy CSXT’s requirements.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement to pay CSXT the total remaining reimbursable expenses in the amount of $47,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available via CDBG agreement in CIP # CS013 - Woodrow Wilson/Lowry Ave/CSX ROW.
