SUBJECT: Contract with Stewart Tennis Court and Fencing, Inc.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Parks and Recreation department programs and maintains four hard court tennis courts, eight basketball courts, along with future planned courts.
Courts need to be resurfaced every 4-8 years, depending on use and environmental factors.
Stewart Tennis Courts and Fencing Inc., is an approved vendor and has the capacity to handle the City's resurfacing needs. Stewart Tennis Courts and Fencing Inc., can provide services as needed through piggyback of City of Tampa, Contract No. 71041223.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute a contract 26-001RC-JG-PB with Stewart Tennis Court and Fencing Inc., through piggyback of City of Tampa contract No. 71041223, for court resurfacing on an as-needed basis.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP # PK036 - Park Improvements.
