SUBJECT: Modification #1 - CDBG Sidewalk Project FY 2022-2023
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Utilizing the City’s continuing contracts for engineering services, staff developed Engineering Work Order (EWO) 21-020-01G-03 with CivilSurv Design Group, Inc. (CivilSurv) for the design and permitting efforts and approved by the City Commission on April 28, 2025.
Construction plans are at 100% design. However, additional plan details, plan & profile, and cross-sections are needed for a 10-inch Highly Volatile Liquid (HVL) gas pipeline crossing S. Woodrow Wilson St. The new sidewalk along the east side of S. Woodrow Wilson St will run above the pipeline, and an encroachment application & permit coordination with the owner (Kinder Morgan).
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute Modification #1 to Engineering Work Order 21-020-01G-03 with CivilSurv Design Group, Inc., in the amount of $14,824.00.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are available in CIP #ST009 - Sidewalk Replacement.
