SUBJECT: Resolution accepting a sidewalk easement along Sparkman Road.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Prose Plant City Apartment project located at 3108 James L. Redman Parkway is required to place a sidewalk along the northern side of Sparkman Road, a Hillsborough County owned and maintained roadway. However, the existing right of way is not large enough to accommodate the required sidewalk requiring the applicant to place the required sidewalk within their own property. The property owner has agreed to grant a perpetual non-exclusive easement for the purpose of pedestrian access and use by the general public of the sidewalk.
Per the attached resolution the property owner will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the sidewalk.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission adopt a resolution accepting a sidewalk easement from CRP/AR Prose Plant City Owner, L.L.C.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No Impact.
