SUBJECT: Utility easement from CRP/AR Prose Plant City Owner, L.L.C.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City of Plant City Utilities Department maintains meters and backflow preventer assemblies (BPAs) located throughout the City. New water meters and BPAs were constructed for CRP/AR Prose Plant City Owner, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company, at 3241 Elsanta St. The easement of the new meters and BPAs has been deeded to the City to allow access for Utilities' personnel to perform annual testing and required maintenance. The Utilities Department will maintain these new facilities within the proposed easement.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Commission approve a resolution accepting the easement deed and authorizing the City Clerk to record the easement deed on behalf of the City.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The meters and BPAs will be added to the Utilities Department inventory and included in the maintenance programs.
Funds are available in the Water/Sewer Fund.
